ANJRPC calls for boycott of NJ Casino's to fight Ban on Carry in Casinos

NJRPC CALLS FOR GUN OWNER
BOYCOTT OF ALL ATLANTIC CITY CASINOS
AS THOSE CASINOS ATTEMPT TO BAN CARRY
ON THEIR PREMISES

February 13, 2023. ANJRPC is calling upon the Garden State's one million gun owners to boycott all Atlantic City casinos, in the wake of an orchestrated joint effort to ban right to carry on casino premises as "private property." Given the many millions in taxpayer-funded bailouts of those casinos over many years, it is debatable whether their property can even qualify as "private" anymore. But either way, gun owners are encouraged to vote with their feet and shun all establishments attempting to ban Second Amendment rights.

Last week, the Casino Association of New Jersey issued a statement on behalf of all Atlantic City casinos banning right to carry on all casino property, in order to ensure "the well-being and safety of our guests and employees." See the statement by CLICKING HERE. See news coverage of the announcement by CLICKING HERE and HERE.

Casinos have received millions in taxpayer-funded bailouts for many years, including recently under the Murphy Administration, which may have leaned on the owners to ban carry if they are to receive further state funding. Ironically, that state funding may jeopardize the casino ban itself, since government-funded entities may be prohibited from banning the exercise of constitutional rights.

Please do not patronize Atlantic City casinos, and stay tuned for further updates.

My son wanted to go see it for his 21st, drove down spent about an hour in the casino, he found out quick he doesn’t like losing, even if it was my money.

Walked the boardwalk, maybe 20-30 min. Completely horrible.

If your there just to lose money, watch a show/concert inside it’s probably bearable, otherwise it’s a shithole. After all these years they did nothing for the area. My opinion.

But then again look who runs it.

I was always confused about Mt Airy. Is that in the Poconos? Isnt there a bad part of Philly called Mt Airy?

Its right off 80 past the Outlets.  It is the poconos and the area is the old Mount Airy Lodge.  It is all fixed up and a beautiful,  small casino hotel.  Rooms are nice too.  Just about an hour from North Jersey.  Not a bad area as it is out in the woods quite a bit.

    • I very seriously doubt this has anything to do with terrorism.    1) Harbor pilots are VERY seriously vetted, and highly trained. Not to mention extremely well paid. My experience knowing a few of them, and knowing how they are recruited and screened tells me that there is a slim to highly unlikely chance that a harbor pilot would have participated in anything like that.    2) Maintenance of foreign flag ships is well known to be dubious. Especially these days. These were NOT US flag, Jones act sailors. It was (to my understanding) a largely Indian crew on that ship, with a Ukrainian Captain. Indian crews are not exactly known for being stellar.    3) The bunkers (fuel) these ships use is ‘Bunker C’, which is a heavy, dirty fuel oil that can, and usually is, pretty contaminated. This stuff ain’t your car grade gasoline or diesel fuel. It’s nasty.   It requires nearly constant filter changes and maintenance to the engine/generators. The ship took on fuel prior to departing port, which would stir up all kinds of shit in the fuel tanks, which would contribute to particulates in the fuel lines/filters.    4) I’d say the posting of the chief engineer for Maserek above was pretty spot on as far as chain of events.    This was a shitty accident, with horrible timing and outcome. Not a terror attack.
    • I saw Lara's interview on Bannon's War Room, and that gave me pause for thought. Her conjecture depends primarily on the veracity of her sources. Regardless, if it's not applicable in any way to this ship disaster, the methods described seem valid to me. And worthy of consideration for the future. As I said before, IMO something is coming.
