It's like a Kel Tec design engineer left Kel Tec and moved to S&W.  First the M&P 12 KSG style shotgun, now a Folding 9mm rifle... lol.

Honestly - it does intrigue me a little, and mostly because I already have M&P mags that will fit.

Would love something like this in 5.7 that is still pistol grip fed.

I like the way the side-folding design eliminates the Sub2000 dilemma of how to re-fold it with an optic in place. 

I've been looking for a pistol caliber carbine to keep in Florida, and I think this might be the one.

I did.  Considered it.  Can't have the folding stock version of that in NJ though.     I'd actually really like a shorter barrel version (~10.5") of the Ruger that comes in at under 50oz (sans stock) so that it can be a legal pistol in NJ.

Yeah, I’m aware of the law, thanks.

They make a state compliant model that does not fold and has 10 round mags.
