tommy3rd 132 Posted March 21, 2010 Thanks for the info! Maybe gunforhire should change their description to "legally carry in 30 states."

stever 16 Posted February 2, 2011 Anthony, do you have any idea how this latest bill by Sen. J Valentine of Utah will affect our Utah ccw's ?
gunforhire 826 Posted February 2, 2011 Not a clue, we and the NRA are following this very closely. Hopefully they will see the loss of $$$ and wake up.
LorenzoS 100 Posted February 2, 2011 My personal opinion is to get it while you can. I think the administrative work to go out and make existing Utah permit holders show they have a CCW permit in their home state would be too large. More likely they will grandfather existing permit holders and ask for the additional information for renewals over the next 5 years.
stever 16 Posted February 3, 2011 I was on a Utah ccw facebook site today..was told wont affect NJ as long as we dont have our own ccw permits and don't have reciprocity..if we actually do become full American citizens, we will be required to get NJ ccw before applying/renewing for utah..Seems Utah is upset cause ppl gettin cheaper easier utah ccw rather than their own maybe more difficult state. in other words we can get utah because we cant get NJ first..
