Gunshops near the Poconos

I am going to be headed up to Lake Wallenpaupack early Sunday afternoon. Are there any "must see" gunshops that I should pay a visit to? I can print up a few NJ COE Rifle forms to bring with me in case they don't have any of their own.

I am not as concerned with ammo since I roll my own.

I don't know what route you're taking, but there are 2 shops in Brodheadsville:

 

Weaver's

American Shooting Sports? American Sports Shooting? Something like that.

 

AmSS is on the main drag through town (209?), and Weaver's is a couple of blocks off the main road. 2 very different shops, both worth a visit.

I am coming up from Sandy Hook. Normally I take Parkway to 287 to 206 to 80. I can cut through PA though.

wallenpaupack gun shop is is right at the lake on rt. 6.he usually has a few good deals.no matter ammo is way cheaper in pa.might as well get some. also if your want to head up rt 6 a bit more there is north east firearms in honesdale.

If you manage to stop at Weaver's it is worth it. Not a huge place but worth it nevertheless. When I have to transfer guns up (I live in PA), I use Phil. He is a great guy and pretty knowledgeable.

Dunkelberger's in East Stroudsburg has an awesome selection and very low prices.

This is not a dig against Dunkelberger's, I shop there for gun accessories but not for a gun.

 

They got caught up in Bloomberg's sting operation. SO instead of a long legal battle with Mayor deep pockets, they settled video all gun sales and Bloomberg gets a copy.

I almost made it to check out the gun shops in the Stroudsbergs...

Today was their St Patty's day parade and main street was inaccessible. Oh well.
