Polish Ammo Tin

How in the world do you open this tin can? This is not like the russian spam can.. this thing is soldered and i dont know how to even begin to try and open it. I tried pulling on the tab but it just broke off. Any ideas?

if i wasn't so lazy i would take a picture of an open one for you but im busy reloading and cleaning so your outta luck

 

but trust me, pull on the top tab first and that'll peel first, then the second tab 90 degrees from the first i believe and your good to go

pull up to bend the tab back, or do i pull down?? thanks

grab that tab with pliers and roll the nose of the pliers to peel it up.. just like opening a can of spam with the key..

 

imagine opening that in a gun battle.. I wonder how many troops have been hit with a spam can of ammo..

Hello ,

I opened one of the Polish tins recently :

Pull the tab (it will break off and grab a screwdriver and punch a small hole and work with the scredriver on the side from there . It s a pain , but the ammo was really great and clean (i had 7.62x54r)

thanks guys i got it.. i had to get bigger pliers for more leverage
