What exactly are the Nazis protecting? Has there been that much violence or has it been blown out of proportion? There is gang violence in many parts of the US, but we do not see the need for militia's everywhere. Is there any reason why the State can not enforce its own laws without relying on the Federal government? When you ask the Federal government for help then you must accept their dominance and legislation.

 

When you support the actions of a group of people, what is to stop you from joining them?

 

 

because I am supporting the action of protecting the border.. NOT the action of burning a cross on someones lawn.. its funny how we are SO PRO-2a.. but when it comes to freedom of speech we are getting a little soft here.. I fail to see what these "people" think or say has to do with the job they are doing.. i fail to see how social or political views minimizes the stand they are taking..

 

is it worth fighting to keep people who are here illegally OUT of the country.. I say absolutely..

 

in a time of chaos.. or disaster.. I would stand next to a liberal gun hating citizen and help save his a**.. why? because he is a fellow American, a person... his political views do not change that.. I see no difference in what is going on in America, on the border..... and it is NOT like everyone down there is some radical skinhead.. there was another news article late yesterday that stated that they were working with MANY different types of people..

 

You know, I see your point and can not say you are 100% wrong in it. And you are right in judging by peoples actions not beliefs, but the action of Joining a Neo Nazi group because of the shared beliefs of the organization is an action to be judged. Remember the whole guilt by asociation your parents would tell you about? Be careful who you hang out with on the street corner. I am as careful about who I align myself with as I am about what I put in writing.

This is a very powerful recruiting propoganda for them as well.

 

Freedom of speech is imoprtant and to be protected, I do not advocate making it illegal to hate people because you can not legislate morality. But anyone has the right to think of them as narrow minded and ignorant.

 

I really can not see this as a winning situation for anyone but the Radical SPLC and ACLU. I believe the prospect of one of these guys shootting an Illegal or anyone for that matter makes them salivate.

Well said it seems these days that the left wing in this country gets no bad press even when they clearly violate both the spirit and the laws of this nation.

While people on the center and the right get hammered for just suggesting we enforce laws already on the books to protect us.(Border security)

Or wish to exorcise our constitutional rights like 2A and the 10th and 14th amendments.The mere mention of instilling some discipline by asking that all who enter this country do so legally and do not become a drain on the taxpayer raises nothing but howls of racism in the mass media.

Look at all the whining Gov Christie gets at the simple suggestion we as a state get out of debt by cutting programs that supplement the welfare state and do nothing to advance efficiency and self sufficiency on the part of the individual.

My point, poorly communicated, is that regardless of what we say or do, we will not change the current climate. In fact, my grandfather came to this country in 1921 at the age of 16 to escape slavery, as a white man. This is the great history which has been forgotten. He jumped off the boat in Hoboken on a friday night as he could not wait all weekend on the ship to only be processed on Monday morning at Ellis Island. The Germans at that time were the most feared soldiers in the world. Not only had they begun secretly revamping their military long before hand (which helped propel them out of the depression) They cut their teeth and polished up their tactics during the Spanish Civil War. So when war broke out shortly afterwards there is no doubt there were the most advanced, prepared, battle hardened army anywhere.

 

Sadly, the Swastika is Centuries old (perhaps more) and is a symobol of good luck in many cultures, long before it became bastardized under the Nazi's.

 

One thing you have to realize is that Hitler didn't wake up one day and decide 'I want to kill 18-20 million people including 6 million Jews'. The program that later grew into the holocaust was started to cut the heavy cost on the state (It was during the depression remember.) So basically they said the same thing that many people on this board probably think, why are we paying all this money to feed and house serial murderers and the criminally insane? So they decided to drive them around in a truck (with the exhaust pipe sticking into the back) and then just tell the family that they died of natural causes in their sleep. These were the dregs of society, really who cared? Even if the family put up a fight it wasn't like they were Nobel prize winners.

 

That sure cut down the overhead for a lot of these prisons and insane asylums and freed up money for public works and military projects to help propel the econmy forward. The problem was mental defectives and degenerates of all kind were eventually added to the list, homosexuals, Gypsies (they were nearly wiped out completely) and everyone else that the Nazis weren't real happy with (including obviously the Jews). It didn't help the Jews that Hitler had felt personally wronged by them earlier in his life.

 

Making Hitler and the Nazis out to be demons that could only come about when the stars align in some unholy ceremony once a millenia is silly for a variety of reasons. One, as much as he was hated he had a large number of useful contributions (Like the highway system in Germany which became the map for the one here in the US and abroad, and bringing his country up out of depression which is no small feat). Two, he was simply a man who with a group of other men made decisions that became progresively more vile. The same thing could happen here or any where else in the world (and has, after all the bathists (remember Saddam Hussein) were a direct offshoot of the Nazi party) in small, incremental but progressive steps.

 

The moral, and I think we can all relate to this in some form, is that even small incremental changes in government, made by a single party or even group of them, can have a terrible effect on our society if not checked.

Just as a follow up...If we could get one of these on the border, that'd keep anyone from crossing. Taken from the Meteor Crater, looking to the NW of Flagstaff, 40-50 miles away. That's all smoke. No clouds in the sky at all.
