Thats pretty neat, I might have to get one to see just how sturdy it is :twisted:

 

Edit: Just looking through the owners manual, and they have you mount it with four #14 screws :roll:....Not my definition of secure

that's 1/4". if they are in studs, and nice and long, and the mount is in the right position (hard to crowbar), thats not too bad.. you'd have concealment working for you too.

I've seen this advertised on the sportsman's channel, I've changed my mind (what else is new)! I like it alot and i'd pick one up if I had the cash in hand.

I was ready to buy it till I read this in the FAQ:

In addition there are a variety of aftermarket products that will not work with the ShotLock:

 

* Ghost rings

* Scopes

* Receiver mounted side saddles or lights

* Certain tactical rails

 

No go for me

But, I've been eyeing one of those 887's.
