Do any of the other Range 14 members remember the guest amounts? I think it's member plus three for the rifle range and member plus four for the trap/skeet ranges. I haven't been in a while so I can't remember.

I've never been to Ft. Dix, what's the story with targets?

Do they know we are coming that day? They used to have shoots at Dix that we put together by some guys on that other site. They would make prior arrangements, get 3 or 4 lanes reserved for as many hours as we wanted, and you could bring who you wanted without having to have enough members to get the rest of the guys in without doing the guest thing. They would charge a fee per person that would go to the range ($15 or $20 something like that). Worked quite well. Perhaps whoever is arranging this can make a similar arrangement with the people running Dix these days?

No the targets they sell are cardboard and mounted on a 1x2 stick. Just buy the target, nab a post holer, and dig a hole to put it into the ground. If you have a target holder you can bring it, but it may be difficult to use. ChrisJM981 and I brought our Cherry Ridge target holders last time, but decided to not use them because it would be a pain to dig the holes for.

Go to public land wheree people put up their vote for (enter crook's...errr... I mean politician's name here) signs and use them. They stick in the ground easily and are abundant. Just take them all so you're not appearing biased.
