Locomotives range from 3-8k in the gauge mine is (3/4")for a good runner. The larger sizes (like 1-1/2") are about $15k average running all the way up to the 80's :icon_e_surprised: this is because %99.9 of them are built either from scratch or from a set of castings. A fee hundred/thousand hours later and you have a running locomotive.

 

Heres one that would *probably* be in the mid 30's or 40's. This scale runs on the ground and a loco of this size can pull 20-40 people depending on track/conditions
