DirtyDigz 1,811 Posted November 4, 2010 Buddy who lives up in Andover NJ just got a pistol and a rifle - figured we might try to hit one of the PA public shooting ranges for his first time out. The PA range website is here: http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt?open=514&objID=620410&mode=2 Anyone know off the top of their head which range would be closest to Andover, NJ? Any tips for going there, aside from get there early?

kenw 293 Posted November 4, 2010 There's a range in PA up rt.6 just south of Wallenpaupack. Over the Milford bridge, into Milford, and straight up rt.6. I've never shot there, but I did stop by once to check it out. Seemed okay. It was a summer weekend and there were only a few people shooting. Looked pretty casual. e80hydro 120 Posted November 4, 2010 Go through Milford PA on route 6. The range is around 20 miles down the road on your right. Theres a small wooden sign that says rifle range. They have 100, 50 and 25 yards. It's busy on the weekends. Keep in mind they only allow 6 rounds in a handgun and only 3 in a rifle then you can reload.
