Pictures of AK's

One way you can tell is the magazine. The curved magazine is 7.62x39, the slightly curved magazine is 5.45x39 and the almost straight magazine will be 5.56/.223.

Just informing you! That's how I learned it.

yep, it's the old straight wall case vs tapered walled cases. I did see the curve and figured it was a x39 but just didn't know which one. I was going to guess 5.45 because (to me) the mag looked a little narrow but I was wrong

We (JT Custom Guns) will soon be offering custom AK furniture in various

colors (Brown, Red, Green, ect.) with Candy Apple clear coat for a custom

look and superior durability

Will the furniture fit a converted Saiga 7.62x39?

Magpul Zhukov front right?  Didn't need a handguard retaining bracket, right?

Correct. I was going to put a retainer on when I had the barrel striped but I liked the length/look of the Zhukov. I had to hack apart the sight block/gas block combo to get it to fit.

Really?  It wouldn't fit with the stock sight block?  or was that because the Muzzle device was pinned on?

nicely done, I'm a little confused on FSB story but don't matter because  the end result is all that counts.  it does look good!

Ever since i got my poly Zastava PAP, I've been wanting a more traditional looking, wood furniture AK variant. Yesterday I got to pick a used one up at a pretty good price. I ordered a bakelite pistol grip yesterday thats the same color as the wood to complete the look.

As always, that's a NJ legal WASR w/ a pinned, 15 round NJ legal magazine.

Got my first AK a couple weeks ago. A WASR-10 for now. Only thing didn't like about it was the blonde color wood. Not conventional to what we are accustom to see.

So I stripped, chestnut red stained and coated it with satin semi-gloss clear urethane. Added a side rail and a TRS red dot. Nothing Fancy. If I like the platform, may invest into higher end models. Here are some before and after wood staining. The photos do not do it justice. The wood looks much more even and deeper than pic.
