1895 S&W New Departure Rebuild?

Heys guys, just inhereted this pistol and it needs some work. I tore the pistol down to remove the broken firing pin and clean the 100+ years of gunk. Just curious on thoughts of complete restoration or repair and keep original? Thanks

The finish doesn't look half bad. I would repair and keep it original. I love those old Lemon Squeezers.

Thanks, that was my first thought but then i started second guessing myself. I really wanna get it fixed and put some rounds thru it. I guess my next step is getting it looked at to make sure it can handle the S&W 32 shorts.
