Has anyone reloaded frangible bullets? I'm trying to calculate this thing and I'm getting confused. Its a 100 gr fn for 38 super but it is the size of a 155+ bullet

My advice is to be careful with the crimp. These are made of sintered metal, which crumbles really easily.

I would suggest checking with the bullet manufacturer for load data. It presents some interesting problems with its light weight but long OAL. Load data for that light a bullet in a conventional reloading manual, will be for a conventional bullet of much smaller length. Using that data for your frangible - given its length - could create an overpressure situation.

Adios,
