NJGF Trip to Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays

Recommended Posts

HaHa, thanks Mark. Not too bad for my first time out. Appreciate the tips from you guys.

Your welcome Keith. I just cleaned your gun for you. Your very welcome.

Rob, I always knew you were a little light in the loafers, and that picture just proved it. And remember, it's what you DON'T see that makes all the difference.

Great time today, that place is awesome! The BBQ was decent, though nothing to write home about. Don (regulator72) was mackin on some cross-eyed chick and left with her! She must have fell in love with his city slicker mentality.

Since we are all checking scores, I'll throw ours out there.

Rob(Echomirage) 52

Ray Ray 57

Sammy(sarnaznj) 58

Doug(SJ shooter) 59

Glenn's 90 something is impressive to say the least.

Nothing wrong with being competitive Glenn. I just remember you asking everybodies scores last time, so I figured you'd do the same this time.

lol you werent even there last time :p

I was asking last time because it was my very first time out, and had no clue if my score was good or bad. I had no baseline, nothing to compare to. I am competative, but that was not gloating. Purely self-evaluation. Apparently trying to get rid of that rep is like trying to get rid of AIDS or something.

Our carts scores:

RecessedFilter: 71

John (my +1 guy): 61

me: 93

Maybe we can do this again with teams? Random teams though, so you can't stack the deck with hotshots on one team.

This is a great place to start the NJGF top shot.

I wish I could have made it yesterday. Between family commitments and insane work deadlines it would have set me back quite a bit.

As far as that semi-CCW picture, this is why IWB holsters are the best for CCW. Even if your shirt comes off, more than of your pistol is still hidden inside your pants.

Well considering you and I were on opposite sides of the bar and I couldn't tell if she was looking at me or you, I do believe we both had an equal chance.

Oh and if Google maps shows a "Walmart photo center", its best not to go there There looking for ammo. We ended up at the entrance to dorney park. I guess Walmart has a photo center inside.. :p

Yes I was there. It was Regulator, TJ, me and my rifle. I shot a 66 and you shot a 72. You beat everybody that time also. :hunter:

I was thanking Mark for his comments. But yes, I will publicly thank Ray for the use of his new, to him, 870. Was told when I got there that I couldn't use my Mossberg due to the short barrel.

Thanks again for the use Ray, and for cleaning it.

Keith

    • In 50 years of living in NJ I've never experienced any attempt to inspect the interior of the home, and only one definite inspection of the exterior for an announced reassessment of all properties and that was a drive by. About 9 years of that was living in an apartment, but still, uncommon. Every place I lived had either a finished attic, basement, or both. But they were also included in the habitable square footage on the taxes when we got there.
    • 27.00 and change in tolls to drive down the shore from Rutherford,  47.00 in tolls to go out to Long island to visit dying relatives. Now I read they are going to raise the fees in the DMV. Murphy lied just to get elected when he said that seniors will get a significant tax break with his StayNJ" program to stop us from leaving.   Keep voting for democrats...this is what you get.  Tax and spend is all they know.  Never cut anything.  This state sucks.
    • I get the added benefit that since I have a TSP rather than a true 401(k) they tax my retirement too. Yaaaay!
