What Guns Are You Currently Lusting After?

Recommended Posts

drunk, just bought ed brown carry on gunbroker.. cross one off my list.

Everyone should buy a gun online drunk at least once in their life. Mine was the HK P7 at Top Gun Supply. Couldn't believe the price ($499), so I hit the button. :)

No regrets.

  1. Getting my Parker SxS 16 ga. fully restored - new walnut & restock to proper dimensions, remove barrel dent, adjust lockwork, case color receiver, polish metal & re-blue, lengthen forcing cones, open choke in rt. bbl. (12-14 month wait) When done, for me it will be a brand new shotgun once again and should be good for another century of use.
    Something realistic:
  2. White Oak Precision Service Rifle upper
  3. pre-64 M70 in .270 Win.
  4. 9422M
    Two delusional flights of fancy:
  5. 6.5 Creedmoor from Greybull Precision
  6. Custom .284 Win. or .308 Win w/ Surgeon action, Krieger bbl., Badger Ordnance bottom metal

Springfield 1903A1 Sniper all original

Whenever I happen to have a spare 6g's laying around I'll just have to buy one I suppose.

Smith and Wesson Model 60

A Luger without a doubt, hopefully I can find one when I go to Sarco and then put in for some permits.

But I'm all together trying to avoid buying any guns right now because I've been spending entirely too much lately

You not buying guns, you are investing in guns. Ammo thats another story...;)

Without bragging, every gun I've bought has turned out to be an investment. Even the ones I bought that I thought I was going to like, and ended up not liking I've sold for more than I paid for them. So that's a plus

See, so buy away. :)

My problem is I can't part with any I buy at least none that I have bought up till now. I think when I retire and build another home I'll build a very secure room just for firearms and reloading.

Sorry to get off topic, but on my way home from failing my car inspection (Thank you Christy Whitman) I stopped at Winter's gunsmithing on the White Horse Pike in Berlin. Just shooting the bull with him he showed me a real nice revolver from I believe the 1880s. He bought it for about $35,000 three years ago, in 2008. Now in 2011 that gun is worth $65,000. Some guns truly are an investment. In fact, he seemed annoyed that I bought my Savage MkII because it will never be worth more than I paid. It's amazing the market on collectable firearms.

Sig 1911 tacops

EAA Witness Hunter in 10mm

Kel-Tec KSG

Kel-Tec RFB

Barret 98B

Sig 1911's are nice... from the ones I played with at the stores.

The EAA Witness Hunter in 10mm... on my list. Fantastic gun, as long as you get proper mags. New MecGar mags look promising. =)

Theres a new Remington rifle out. I think its called the Tac 40 or something like that. Chambered in .308 with a 10 round box magazine, adjustable cheeks rest, harris bi-pod. That thing is sexy. Just can't find any images of it.

This one? http://www.gunsamerica.com/978796587/Guns/Rifles/Knights-Manufacturing-Rifles/Remington_700_Police_USR_308_Win_Urban_Sniper.htm
