Wolfy 51 Posted July 30, 2011 Who knew Costco had this? 1 year supply of freeze dried and dehydrated food for one person $999.99. Is this a good price? http://www.costco.co...Prodid=11487214 The food is good for 15-30 yrs. and if you scroll down they list what is included. I like knowing exactly what I am buying not a random order.

EchoMirage 137 Posted July 31, 2011 dont know if its a good price, but its nice to be able to buy a big quantity of several foods all at once. i wouldnt want to live on just that for a year, but it sounds like a very good start to add to.

Caine 147 Posted July 31, 2011 I have 2 cats for emergency food. -1!!! Costco actually has a surprising amount of "emergency" food and supplies. They have all sorts of "kits" - emergency supply buckets, 72hour packs, etc. There's a lot of money to be made in that market right now, so it makes sense I guess. NOTE: I believe the "reviewer" also sells Thrive products, so keep that in mind when watching.
