TJM 4 Posted December 11, 2011 Was in PA yesterday and stopped at Dick's and picked up a few boxes of the Remington 9mm on sale. I had to present my NJ FID to purchase! Was surprised when the cashier needed that - I asked her why, she said NJ requires it. I responded, I thought I was in PA....but didn't push it too far - ultimately had my FID with me and didn't want to create an issue, but was surprised to be asked for it. Anyone else have that experience?

Texas Shooter 35 Posted December 11, 2011 $11.98 for a box of Remington 9mm FMJ is Dick's normal price. If you buy a case (10 boxes), the price to drops to $9.99 a box.

Really, I already bought 2 this year and did 2 different rebates already, 99 bucks huh, almost worth it for the extra mag..
RedBowTies88 41 Posted December 13, 2011 ^almost. Its hard to believe such a fun gun is so cheap. I would ALMOST be mad for paying $140 for it before the rebate a few months ago if the gun wasn't so frigging awesome.

This special pricing does not apply to the great state of NJ. It only apply to other states like Pa. On their web site sales are different per location. TJM 4 Posted December 13, 2011 Which Dick's? How did they know you were from NJ? Dicks across from Oxford Valley Mall. Guess she saw my driver's license when I opened my wallet to get ATM card. I've purchased ammo there before, including black friday when they even extended their sale that ended at 2pm since I arrived late and never been asked for FID before. Didn't think much of it, as I was actually there for other things, I'd pick up a few boxes of Remington since I was already there....

I'll run over to Dicks in East Brunswick to see if I can get that Marlin deal. I tried for ammos when their web site posted different ammo deals and they wouldn't honor it. RedBowTies88 41 Posted December 13, 2011 strange. I would just give them a ring. I'm sure they can tell you the price. That is as long as they can figure out which gun is which...a tall order for many dicks gun counter personel
