Hello everyone. I just came across these forums tonight and I'm glad I did. I moved to Bergen County a little over a year ago from Texas. Needless to say, Texans and Jerseyans have a different outlook on guns. I'm currently going through the process of getting and FID and everything together to make my first gun purchase here in New Jersey.

Now that's an understatement! It's not quite so bad, you've found an oasis of sanity here. While we are vastly outnumbered by the anti-gunners, we're meaner and better looking. What made you move here?

My girlfriend is just finishing up at NYU, I came with here. I miss Texas a lot though. Go figure I never seriously considered getting a gun until I moved to Jersey though.
