How many magazines do you have for your handguns?

Recommended Posts

I guess its my topic so I'll start.

Glock 19-13 15 rounders and 17 10 rounders...

Glock 26-4 10 rounders...

Glock 22-15 15 rounders...

Beretta 92FS-2 15 rounders

Springfield XD Service 9mm-3 10 rounders

Kimber Custom II-2 8 round Chip McCormick and 13 MetalForm/Kimber 7 rounders....

When I had my Sig 229r DAK and my HK USPc LEM I had 3 each for them.

Comming Soon: Glock 34-3 10 rounders

Glock 23-3 13 rounders

Hopefully I can add to these soon. I had a bunch more of the Glock mags but sold a bunch last year to fund my Kimber. Am I a MAG NUT?

69 magazines for 6 guns...yes, you're a mag nut (and a Glock nut apparently)

I have:

Glock 22: 2-15rd

Beretta 92A1: 2-15rd military mags (don't work well), 3-15rd factory, 3-10rd factory

The only reason I bought more Beretta mags is because I'm planning on starting USPSA with that gun in the coming months.

Depends on the gun, the number of that type I have that use that magazine, and what tasks those guns perform. I must have 40 or so 1911 45 ACP mags and a selection of 1911s. I only have 2 mags for my Beretta 950. Everything else is somewhere in between.

I own 10 15 round magazines for my Beretta 92 because Ft. Dix charges by the hour. I'd rather shoot than use my range time loading magazines. I usually like to load up the magazines the night before, and I normally shoot 150 rounds. So 150/10 = 15.

I only have 2 for the PX4 and 4 for my 1911, but I just bought them and am still waiting for a shipping deal at CDNN to buy more.

Thats one of the reasons I have soo many. To save time at the range. During qual days I didnt want to be the guy/gal that has 2 mags and has to reload during a qualification run.

The minumum amount of mags I have for each gun is 5.

That being said, for the p229 platform, I have 34 magazines for 9mm. I have 10 for the p229 in .40. I have too many mags and I am a mag whore.

When the SHTF, you'll wish you had more, no matter how many you have.

I have a boatload of XD45 mags to go with all the weapons.

And a minimum of 5 each for everything else

And more for the AR's

I try and stick to like minded things. I have my 19 and 26 because the 26 with take the 17 and 19 mags, so its like having more. When I pick up the 23 I feel like I already have 15, 15 round mags for it. I try and keep it simple. When I had my SUB2000 I had it take the G17 mags and at that time I had a bunch, same when I had my Beretta Storm CX4 it took my 92FS mags. Some great warrior said, always think tactically.

If SHTF you're gonna wish you had more cans of soup.

If SHTF you're gonna wish you had more cans of soup.

Which is why I have a hard time rotating through my canned good SHTF supply by the expiration dates.

I'm only 1 person!

Minute rice made with the broth of the canned soup and topped with the soup solids makes for a nutritious meal that's really easy to store, then prepare.

P226 9mm - 3x 15rd mags currently, though planning to add 3 or 4 early this year

1911.45 - 3x 8rd mags currently, though planning to add 2 or 3 at some point

Mosquito .22LR - 2x 10rd mags currently, planning to add 1 or 2 more eventually

Once I start getting into competition shooting, I'll be adding more mags for the 1911 and P226. I have other accessories I'll need as well...
