The only one I would want back now is the Colt Commander (the parkerized one from the 90's with the big ugly rollmark on the slide). I started out buying what other people recommended I buy. Hopefully i am finally at the point where I only am buying things I know I will keep. We'll see.

Mine was a Savage MKII .22LR. I bought it May20th or 30th I believe. I bought it about 3 hours after picking up my FID. I still have it, though I do sometimes consider trying to trade it for a lever .22. Just the fact that it was my first gun makes it hard to consider doing that though.

 

My first centerfire was my VZ24 I bought of J0n. Got it at a great deal, and never regretted it. I do wish I got to shoot it more.

 

And that's all the guns I own, until I can find a nice semi-auto rifle, which is what I'm looking for now. Then, I'll get a shotgun.

 

Don't care much for pistols, but when I turn 21 I'm planning on maybe getting a Five-seveN, or a Luger.

NJ gun would be a Crossman BB gun. Real gun would be a Marlin bolt action .22. Both in the early 80s.

Rifle: 1939 Mauser K98 Russian capture. Made at the Mauser Oberndorf factory and had a "40" factory code. It was a beautiful gun and I sold it at the time to make room for other long guns before I got a safe.

M1 Carbine 1973- still have & shoot. Need to stay sharp for the Zombie Apocalypse. Oh yeah, boys, it's coming...you better have a semi-auto.

S & W 38 Special- 1973- still have, still shoot. Nice backup gun for my 360. Makes the sweetest pop you ever heard.

Shotgun - I inherited my grandfathers old 12 Gauge Francotte SxS - 1984 (Left it back in Europe, where I lived as a kid. My uncle has it but will manage to bring over to the US some day.)

I was gonna put that as my first gun as well (altho the timeline was probably closer to the early 90s for me), but it was a present and I wasn't sure it "counted"... not to mention I wasn't sure if it's technically a rifle or a shotgun. Mine is also sitting in a closet in Europe I've been trying to find one here, but all I find is the 9mm ammo.
