Range off of Rt15 NB Jefferson-ish, NJ?

Driving northbound on Rt. 15 through Jefferson there appears to be a small range down in the valley on the right hand side roughly opposite the Thirsty Moose (RIP) in Jefferson Twp, Morris County NJ. Anyone know what it is? Just curious, drive by it every day.

Next time you pass by just pull over to the side and jot down the LAT/LONG. I live in Jefferson and will check it out. It may be Kenw's favorite trap range but that's Sparta.

Sparta Trap is visible from the road, but it's north of the intersection with 517. That's way north of the Thirsty Moose. I may have to take a ride down there and check it out.

it's just visible in google maps satilite photos follow Rt 15N from Thirsty moose and you'll see kind of an unimproved road leading to cleared "lanes" in the trees. there appears to be an entrance (drop curb anyway) on 15 rigt before the third lane opens up I always blow past it too fast and forget to try and pull off onto it....

There's also Walnut Valley Sportsmen in that same area I think. Don't know much else about those clubs though.

yes that is it.  been up to the gate no contact info  most of that property now is owned by the state  i herd someone shooting there last weekend trying to see what the deal is me and my friends been looking for a outdoor private or public range to shoot that is not so expensive or far or just good sports to shoot with natural backstops that won't attract negative attention?
