Will the 13rd 9mm mags fit the new E2 p229, also what about the SS Guide Rod. ?

Actually was going to ask a question about the mags too....will they work in a P228 or older frame P229? Any sigaholics on the board know?

If you have a regular p229 and not a 229-1, both will fit. The difference between the two is obvious. The p229 has half serrations on the slide, the 229-1 has ful serrations

One last question for sicasa, are these original German made mags, MecGars, or Checkmate (US made) mags?

Those mags are made by Mec Gar and are made in Italy.

 

Bry@n referenced the guy above going to Greg for the 229-1 mags. I'm sure he meant no harm in the sale thread.
