Underdog 1,593 Posted March 20, 2012 Does anybody have experience with one of these? Thoughts/impressions, etc.? Do they jam often? Are the magazines easy to get, etc. Is $185 a good price for a used one?
Jon 264 Posted March 20, 2012 I do not personally have any experience with it, but from all of the members on here who own one, I have yet to read about any negative other than how ugly they are.
BlueLineFish 615 Posted March 20, 2012 You shouldn't get it. Let me know who has one for 185 and I will get rid of it so you aren't tempted to buy it
Underdog 1,593 Posted March 20, 2012 I guess I will go and pick it up.

claptrap 0 Posted March 20, 2012 I have the original 995-b, I never clean it and it never jams. I had the ATI stock on it that makes it look like beretta cx4 but I took that off and got the newer TS stock for it $185 and a cheap red dot and your set, they are fun
keithco88 3 Posted March 20, 2012 but you are stuck with the 10rd factory mags right? I saw ProMag made some 15rd ones but they're out of stock everywhere and a few sites say they're no longer in production... also is the foregrip version legal in new jersistan? rifleman 90 Posted March 20, 2012 Best cheap, ugly gun on the market. Very innacurate but scary looking. Great house gun.
MikeBVA 0 Posted March 22, 2012 Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster. I have the 995 ts carbine in 9mm. My kit contained a folding front grip, sling, and two ten round magazines. the carbine is rock solid, I tried running crap ammo through it and it ate everything no issues whatsoever. The accuracy is actually pretty decent. My suggestion would be to remove the irons and put on a good red dot optic and take the time to dial it in. Another suggestion is to make sure you know it's operation, it's easy to short bus the loading and charging of the carbine if you don't pay attention or rush through it. Bottom line, it's a very solid gun I shoot it very very often with ZERO issues.
joepaw 0 Posted March 21, 2013 Ill buy it from ya for more than that if its in good shape

BlueLineFish 615 Posted March 21, 2013 and sell the good ones, look! http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/51478-wtt-springfield-armoy-xdm-45/ i just have no need for a compact 45. Rather put it towards a new 1911
johnp 45 Posted March 21, 2013 My personal experience: I bought one brand new. Magazine wouldn't seat properly in the gun. Take it to range, can't get the thing to fire. Mail it back to Hi-point they end up replacing everything internally. Get it back, test it and everything seems to work okay. It's a Hi-point after all, throw it in the back of the safe and haven't looked at it in months. I recently found (2) 10rounders at Heritage Guild in Easton.
