iRescue 0 Posted May 10, 2012 Hi all, I've been looking at new range ammo. Been running Remington UMC through my glock but it's pretty dirty and getting hard to find. I came across some Lawman TMJ 9mm for pretty cheap. Anyone have any experience with it? How do you like TMJ vs FMJ bullets?
Malsua 1,422 Posted May 10, 2012 I've shot thousands of rounds of Lawman. Good stuff. Most of it was FMJ and maybe 200 rounds of TMJ but I couldn't tell the difference.

BonannoFamily 0 Posted May 10, 2012 Speer lawman is one of the brands I run thru my Beretta .40 cal. Good quality ammo with no issues. I ask you though, is there really such a thing as cheap ammo any longer?
Wojo 98 Posted May 10, 2012 Good quality brass with consistent case weights for us reloaders.

tommy3rd 132 Posted May 10, 2012 never had an issue with speer lawman stuff. it has always been my first choice but it's usually expensive, so i go for PMC bronze asa second choice. The 2 times i bought remington bulk ammo, i had a lot of issues with it, so i stay away from them.
iRescue 0 Posted May 10, 2012 Hey cguiro I found a deal on SGammo - case going for just over 219. Works out to be about 11 bucks a box - which is cheaper than most around here. Thats about as cheap as you're gonna get now a days. I'm going to pick some of it up I think.
The_Matrix 105 Posted May 10, 2012 What does TMJ stand for?

M2AX 0 Posted May 11, 2012 FWIW, I got a case 1K rounds of 9mm 115gr Lawman a couple of weeks ago from TargetSportsUsa in CT. I've only put 100 rounds of it through my Glock so far, but it seemed much easier to clean up afterwards than the Federal white box or CCI Blazer Brass I was using before. (Yes -- I'm one of _those_ people who clean after each range visit, it's an obsessive thing, and easy to clean is a plus for me). Most of the reviews/comments on the various ammo sites seemed to indicate that it fired cleaner than other brands, that's why I went with it. After about 500 rounds, I'll evaluate re-ordering another case or not. The price was pretty good as well (IIRC, it was about $220 for a case of 9mm with free shipping)
TheLugNutZ 21 Posted May 11, 2012 Usually always use lawman in 9mm and .40 from targetsportsusa for FMJ/TMJ (range ammo)
Rifleman1 32 Posted May 11, 2012 Definately good stuff. Have 450 rounds in inventory at the moment.
PeteF 1,044 Posted May 11, 2012 It also is very clean ammo. Pick up a spent casing and take a look inside. Very little soot.
TheWombat 67 Posted May 11, 2012 I've shot thousands of rounds of 9mm 115/124/147 9mm and also 180 .45 ACP Speer Lawman across my various firearms no issues with Speer Lawman - it is my standard range ammo TheWombat
