AR scope mount

I wonder if you guys can point me in the right direction by suggesting good quality inexpensive AR scope mount. I have a flat top and a standard front sight post. thank you.

I'm using a Burris AR-P.E.P.R. QD with a Burris MTAC and it's working OK. It's a quick release, but I haven't removed/installed to check return to zero. It appears to be a decent mount.

I have a Nikon M223 mount for a 1" tube. It is like new and used for only 2 months before I went to a red dot. I'd let it go for $50.

My mount doesn't affect my fixed front sight. You never even see it through the scope. I think on the 1x4 scope, you notice it a lil on 1x power.

the nikon m223 above is as good a deal as you will find on a good fixed AR mount. if you are looking for a QD mount, the only thing out there is the Burris PEPR for about $100. after that you are into LaRue, ADM, etc for close to $200

You can use a magnifying optic with the front sight post in the way. You won't see it with most scopes (I'd be cautious with a simple prismatic low power magnifying optic). In general, even on 1x for a 1-4x scope, it will make the image a bit dimmer and less contrasty. Kind of like putting your finger right in front of a flashlight doesn't get you a nice crisp finger shadow until you get the right distance away.

ridiculously expensive.. but that is what I have and it has been trouble free..

 

 

my front sight post is right in front of my scope (3x-9x) and I can not see it in the scope..
