(732)Shootremington 0 Posted June 21, 2012 Does anyone know where this gun is? Will it ever really be rolled out?
alec.mc 180 Posted June 21, 2012 It's been available for about a year or so now. Finding in stock may be a different story, From what I've seen they are becoming easier to find these days though.

hiker88 22 Posted June 21, 2012 The Ruger SR1911 came out with a lot of hype at first. I've handled a couple of this while out state. The quality, although good, is not exceptional. At the price range, I would suggest you look at a Springfield Armory Range Officer or Loaded models. You can also try to find a used Colt. Colts seem to keep their value well. I have handled them both and i bought the range officer over the ruger. The RO just felt better in the hand and more solid. It is about 75 to 100 dollars more then the ruger. Underdog 1,593 Posted June 22, 2012 I'd look at a Smith and Wesson 1911...
Mikeythumbs 1 Posted June 22, 2012 I'd look at a Smith and Wesson 1911... The s&w is a nice 1911 and I have heard good things about them. The only thing is you are going up a couple of hundred in price from the ruger to the cheapest s&w
