fliks 20 Posted July 18, 2012 I've been thinking about getting a .22lr conversion for my Jericho 941 - has anyone had any experience with the EAA Conversions? I can't find much online about them... Also... is it worth it? after plopping down about $250 for the conversion - do you really end up saving so much on ammo ... depends on how much you shoot, I guess... Any ideas/opinions/suggestions? Maksim 1,504 Posted July 18, 2012 The ones I have seen, not that reliable.
fliks 20 Posted July 18, 2012 That's another thing I heard too. It would really be just for plinking - not competitions or anything. maybe I'll just buy more 9mm instead of the conversion ...
Steve_G 51 Posted July 18, 2012 Just get a .22 pistol. M&P 22, GSG 1911-22, Ruger, Buckmark, etc. As far as thd ammo goes, youn can get 1050 rounds for under $50. Seems like a signifigant saving to me, especially if you shoot alot.
Kingsoverqueens 10 Posted July 18, 2012 I can't speak for the EEA kit, but I've got the factory converstion kit for my Beretta 92fs and have run more rounds through the gun in .22 than 9mm. It's way cheaper. The Beretta kit is like a 3 y/o kid on what ammo it will eat. Very finiky. I'm glad I got the kit but next time will get a dedicated .22. Was almost sure I was going to get a Sig 1911 but am now leaning toward the Browning Buckmark with Rosewood handles. Very nice gun.
