oneshot 45 Posted August 4, 2012 yep.. As a matter of fact i have 2 mounts that screw on the top of the handle.. The one draw back is the height of the optic. I had a red dot and a hologragh mounted on mine. I've since purchased a flatop ,so i only use the iron sites on A2 carry handle. I forget what i paid for them but . There are a few different styles. http://www.opticsplanet.com/eotech-holographic-mounts-for-m16-ar15.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=plusbox-beta&gclid=CIL1ss7wzbECFYeo4AodMkkA0Q http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=
bhunted 887 Posted August 4, 2012 You can pick up a decent one for about 15 bux. Don't pay that much. It's only a hunk of aluminum.... Shop around...

rightisright 3 Posted August 4, 2012 When it comes to optics and mounts cheap is just that.... True words. One of my ARs is an A2 upper that I've tried a few different optics on. They are just too high to get a good cheekweld. I use it with irons only now. Good for practice. If you have an A2 stock, you can get a riser that may help you get a good weld.
