Tactical case for AR with handle mounted optics?

Recommended Posts

I have a LaRue Tactical M.O.A.B. (My GF bought me the MOAB/i3200 case combo for XMas.) It's plenty big enough for a AR with a handle mounted optics. I know it's pricey... but there's cheaper versions.

VooDoo Tactical has a couple that will fit for sure. Like:

I have the voodoo padded case in 42 and it works great. Should have plenty of room for your optic

Im a Voodoo dealer at east brunswick sportsman, and am expecting these in this week.

20" is going to be rough because of the overall length of the bag. A standard back-pack should be suffice. I have a 5.11 carry on sized bag that fits a carbine length set up. It also has a shoulder strap and hidden back pack type straps. Check out Maxpedition gear, they have some pretty cool stuff that might fit your needs. But you are looking at the $150 price range.

At the risk of getting a reputation as OpticsPlanet.com #1 fan boy, check out their

OPMOD extreme soft case Is priced at $30

I got a 38" one. It's well made and I just measured w tape as 11 3/4 high inside. It has regular carry handles and a single adjustable strap to sling over one shoulder on back (like a soft guitar case).

OpticsPlanet fulfills through Amazon so if you checkout through the amazon option everything ships value for free if you've got Amazon Prime
