TheDon 3 Posted October 24, 2012 I just discovered Freedon Munitions. Their everyday price seems to be 10% less than the going rate for internet economy ammo, and shipping is included in their pricing. They almost seem too good to be true. Has anyone had experience with them? How are they as far as reliability and bullet quality?
diamondd817 826 Posted October 24, 2012 Search the forum. I think I remember reading some negative comments about them.
Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted October 24, 2012 I just discovered Freedon Munitions. Their everyday price seems to be 10% less than the going rate for internet economy ammo, and shipping is included in their pricing. Just visited their site. Prices do look especially good, but shipping is additional. It is calculated, and options shown, prior to your entering payment information. Adios, Pizza Bob
dtown223 12 Posted October 24, 2012 I've shot their "blaster" ammo quite a bit, with no issues Packaging is less than discreet, if that's something that might bother you
RedBowTies88 41 Posted October 24, 2012 Is it reloaded or new production?
Duppie 73 Posted October 24, 2012 Is it reloaded or new production? Both.
johnp 45 Posted October 24, 2012 I have only read good things about Freedom Munitions, but no personal experience. While their prices are somewhat cheaper per box/case, their shipping is pretty high, which has stopped me from ordering from them.

Mikeythumbs 1 Posted October 24, 2012 Even with the shipping you still save a few bucks if you buy the remanufactured stuff. I think its about 10 dollars a case cheaper for remans. it was just under 200 for a case of 9 with the shipping
SA1911 0 Posted November 24, 2012 I bought 500 rounds of the .223 a while back. I think it was the blaster ammo but im not sure, whatever was the cheapest. It came packed loose in a box, some dented cases but all went bang and fed/ extracted perfectly. No complaints at all.
ECsandstar 28 Posted February 20, 2015 Looking into purchasing some of their 124gr/ 115gr 9mm FMJ RN reman. Anyone tried any of this stuff? The prices almost look too good to be true! As stated, about 10% cheaper than most of their reman competitors. 5% off sale right now. Also, found this on their website; If you are a NEW CUSTOMER: Please remember to enter your First Time Buyer coupon code in the Coupon Code section below. (don't have a code? click here >>) After you enter the code "Free Shipping" is PRE-selected - DO NOT CHANGE IT. IMPORTANT: Failure to follow these instructions may void the offer. Basically, first time customers get FREE SHIPPING. I guess its worth a try.

Have never had any FTF/FTE. Only downside is their shipping is kinda slow. Also their 10mm is not full powered. Highly recommended. Why pay more to shoot paper? Norseman 2 Posted February 20, 2015 I'll vouch for Freedom Munitions too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MikeL 3 Posted February 20, 2015 Their pricing fluctuates a lot, especially when they offer their % off day to day. Try not to be fooled by their marketing. Otherwise, I find their ammo great and 75% of my stockpile is from FM - 9, .40, & .223; all weights.
seamusSU 0 Posted February 21, 2015 Freedom is pretty much all I shoot at this point. Keep an eye out for their $5 or free shipping that they run occasionally. That really makes the prices great and you can stock up.

Norseman 2 Posted February 22, 2015 I had bought 3 boxes for a class about a year ago, and every single round was sticking in the chamber and I would really have to muscle the CH to get it to eject. I switched over to the couple of M855 and the box of PMC I had left, and had no problems with that ammo. The second I switched back to Freedom, the problem started again. Dunno if i got a bad few boxes or what, as I have shot Freedom through that AR since then, and haven't had any problems since. That is odd. I've never had any issues at all with their ammo and I've been shooting it for a couple years now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OfcrFek 21 Posted February 26, 2015 Whooooooops. Disregard what I said about Freedom. Was just digging through my ammo box earlier to load up for a range trip and I apparently was talking about a diff ammo company. I was thinking of Independence, not Freedom. lol. sorry. jeff47 30 Posted February 27, 2015 I just bought 1250 rds of remanufactured 40 cal for $286 shipped which works out to less than $0.23/rd delivered. Like everyone else said, keep an eye out for their $5 shipping and their caliber specific deals of the day and if you're a new customer than bonus for you. I've had no problems with any of the rounds I purchased from them in the last 2 years.
