Yotafan 1 Posted December 10, 2012 More info So who is going? I would go on friday but i get to go to my inlaws and do christmas stuff woohoo. So planning on getting there when it opens on Saturday. I have never gone to a show before so don't know what really to expect. Not looking for anything in particular but just browsing and if i see something i like i will purchase. How long does it take to walk the entire thing and look at 1200 tables?
Clintoon Eastwood 2 Posted December 10, 2012 I want to go and still planning on it, I went a month ago and it took me about 3-4 hours to go all the way around. But that's because i talked to a few sellers and bought a few unexpected things. Also that was only estimated at a 1000 tables.
Yotafan 1 Posted December 10, 2012 So i am not sure if i read it on here or the PAFOA site about a hand truck. But say you purchase a couple cases of ammo would it be a good idea to bring one in the SUV. Also any chance any of the vendors sell safes?
CageFighter 236 Posted December 10, 2012 im considering going, just not sure what day.

I actually saw a couple of guys that had hand trucks leaving the show and both were stacked full of xm193 ammo
RecessedFilter 222 Posted December 10, 2012 Don't get your hopes up on good deals, especially ammo. I've heard a lot of forum talk that show vendors are jacking up prices with the re-election and whatnot. I would still go and browse, but it may be better to buy your ammo online. jjchrissy 0 Posted December 10, 2012 Even before the re-election, prices of ammo wasn't good. At best it was on-line pricing. The last show, I bought a case of ammo and some jerky, just to not leave empty handed. The best expectation is to browse and you may buy something. RecessedFilter 222 Posted December 10, 2012 I don't go to shows much anymore but the last one I went to in October had a vendor selling 9mm cases for 199..pretty Damn good. H sold out in the first hour of the show so you gotta get there early

Yotafan 1 Posted December 10, 2012 I understand prices being higher with supply and demand. But what is a decent price on some target ammo say .223 55gr? .32 per round?
T Bill 649 Posted December 10, 2012 If it was that low we'd all buy it. Try .35 to .40 right now. Seems to be breaking the $400.00/1000 barrier very soon.

Melgamatic 66 Posted December 11, 2012 I bought a new goosecall from goosecallman. He spent a long time teaching it to me. Otherwise, it was an average show. I really want that Savage 110BA in 338 Lapua. The guy's price was inappropriately high, though.

halbautomatisch 60 Posted December 11, 2012 This is one of the larger shows in the area. As for prices, they are likely to be all over the place, shop around to get your best deals - I like how people like to complain how much someone was asking for xxxxx, if the price is to high look elsewhere, there's usually some deals to be had if you look around.
