halbautomatisch 60 Posted January 18, 2013 Thinking 8ish train..out of seacacus Why don't you guys from Vernon area take the bus out of Bridgewater? It's cheaper, most likely going to drop us off near the statehouse, and probably not much farther a drive than Secacus.
Tosser 61 Posted January 18, 2013 Just got an email from NJ2AS that Christie will be giving a pro-2A speech... interesting after today. Can you copy/paste the email. I didn't get it

Tosser 61 Posted January 18, 2013 Excellent. Did they reach out to Senate President Sweeny? He has been in the record in the past to be pro-gun?
Sigman 41 Posted January 18, 2013 Bridgewaters a hike from here......dealing with 287...Ughhhh.... Northerners were forgotten.....but we will make it! Nick - Chessequake isn't that far. It's about an hour drive for me. That's where I'm heading. Hopefully they get enough to fill a bus. Hey - I used to drive 2.5 hours to Camden to work. Now that's a punishing drive. Wojo 98 Posted January 18, 2013 I'm not too far from Nick, Seacucus is a much easier ride that Bridgewater or Chessequake. My office is in Woodbridge and when I have to go in, that 65 mile run down 287 can take over 2 hrs without any accidents. The GSP is no picnic either from up here. mikeyboyeee 66 Posted January 18, 2013 Register for the bus for pickup at the cheesequake restop on the parkway near 120 GREAT idea. Thanks. I am signed up and paid.
Bob2222 316 Posted January 18, 2013 I'm about 20 minutes away from Cheesequake. How is the parking now? The last time I drove past, it was overflowing -- but that was after SS Sandy.
Tosser 61 Posted January 18, 2013 I hope Christie doesn't make it appear we support any new regulation here in NJ. I can see the papers reporting large groups rally's to support "common sense" gun laws. I hope the rest of the speakers set the tone early. We are not here to compromise. We are not here to give up any more rights.

I think it's back to normal Bob, although I dont commute past it every day like i used to

areacode201 4 Posted January 18, 2013 Keep me posted with the secaucus train time. I live right across the street from the lyndhurst station so I'll take that to secaucus and meet you there for the train to Trenton. My friend and I were thinking of driving down, but maybe the train is a better idea. I'll run it by him and if he's down maybe we can meet up at Lyndhurst station or Secaucus. Ray Ray 3,566 Posted January 18, 2013 how's the bus thing looking? Are they filling up?
Tactical Monkey 51 Posted January 18, 2013 how's the bus thing looking? Are they filling up? Ray - As of 8:30PM last night, I believe Bridgewater and Cheesequake are extremely close - so they should be rolling. The other buses have gained a few seats, but still need more for it to be practical. If you plan on taking a Bus to the Rally - sign up now! ESPECIALLY if you are near Forked River rest area, or Montvale Rest area - they need more seats.

I'll run it by him and if he's down maybe we can meet up at Lyndhurst station or Secaucus. That works. I'll let you know the train when Nick gives us the secaucus info
Tosser 61 Posted January 18, 2013 What's the "total" of people signed up as of now? Are we over 500?
Vlad G 345 Posted January 18, 2013 BTW, I'm trying to bring 3 extra people besides my signed up self, I'm not sure if I can update my current event registration.
