PD calling references every time you get a Permit?

send letters and also call the references for me. I do use the same 2 guys wach time. Local PD also now comes to my house to make sure I am the applier and I live in town. last PP's 4 weeks back in Sept, 2012

My PD sends out reference letters for every permit, and when the permits are ready they personally deliver them to the house.

Has anyone been told by their PD that fingerprints, at the NJSP are now taking 6 to 8 weeks???? Have had several permits issues by other PD's and never heard this excuse.....

still waiting on mine, put in for it sometime in late Nov. Hopefully this week...

I call BS. However, one of the PDs did tell me a story about how NJSP tend to 'take forever' or 'send the prints to some other PD' etc IF local guys dont follow up

with NJSP within few days of taking prints.

This is nuts! What happened to the notion that a PD had 30 days to issue permits???
