What was the price tag on that?

It was $1500 from buds. There were none local in South Jersey. Looked at quite few at Buds when I was in KY/TN a while back and it was by far the nicest in that price range. I also really liked the clean lines compared to many of the others.

Just picked this up:

COLT_zpss5qth4wh.jpg

It's a very tight gun...Since I saw a little oil oozing out I put about 88 rounds through it right out of the box and with a little height adjustment on the rear sight I was punching a two inch hole at ten yards, rapid fire. Sadly, that's good for me.  The trigger is not light, but has very little takeup and it breaks nice.

I just cleaned it up and it's a nice pistol. I'm thinking about 500 rounds and I'll start to see what it's really like. So far I'm really enjoying it.

If someday I can afford a custom gun I might do it, but this is more gun than my Sig GSR, for sure. It scratches that itch I"ve had for a shiny 1911.

BTW, I ordered this through D&M Gun Sales in Kansas...I know some in the family. They're good people and on this particular gun they had Bud's beat.

Good luck with it.  For 1911s I prefer a Colt. I have a GCNM from about 1990 and found it to be flawless. Not even a hiccup.  Still on the original barrel with countless rounds through it. Hang in there the trigger gets better with use

Here's mine:

Ruger SR1911, Kimber Custom Target II, RIA compact, Kimber Custom TLE/RL, and a Sig Nightmare.IMG_20150409_190612857.jpgIMG_20150501_202146421.jpgIMG_20160623_134938.jpg

How do you like that Ruger? I just picked one up myself, full size 5 inch barrel. Was a bit off my first time shooting it. Heard lots of mixed reviews on Ruger semi autos/1911s around the range.

I've never had an issue with it. I didn't think mine was a great shooter when I first got it but it improved the more rounds I put through it. Over all I really like it. It's a great gun, especially for the price.

    • I have a like new (only zeroed) PSA Sabre KAC M110 Clone in 7.62x51mm. This is PSA's clone version of the infamous Knights Armament M110. Very high quality, excellent 2 stage trigger, 20" chrome lined barrel, adjustable gas block, and is NJ legal with a pinned Surefire SOCOM muzzle brake.  Radian Raptor charging handle and Radian ambi safety. Upper and lower are billet receivers compatible with all KAC SR-25 and LMT MWS/MARS-H pattern receivers.  Im no where close to being a long range shooter but ive been able to get 0.7 MOA out of it with 175gr federal gold medal match ammo and Im sure the rifle is capable of much better accuracy. Asking $1650 (which is a steal for what you get) at any FFL thats a reasonable distance from Jersey City. I can also ship but that would be on your dime.  Optic/bipod etc not included but can be purchased if interested.
