Show us your 1911's

Colt Government .45acp

& a Sig .22

I've noticed since buying and shooting 1911's, I have stopped looking at the other cases at the LGS. I go right for the 1911 gun porn now. I'm just not interested in anything else anymore.

Get this

http://www.zrtacticalsolutions.com/viewitem.php?productid=62

for your Sig it makes it a freaking tack driver.

You may have to file the little nub on the bushing to make it fit in the slide but thats what you want, a tight fit to the barrel and the slide.

$350 used before transfer fees and shipping. It's more accurate than me.

Good deal, my girl is in the market for a 9mm 1911 if her freakin permits ever get in.

Took this to the range today, quite a plinker. Little rough on the hands considering I piped down a few hundred rounds down a 3" barrel... Wrist a tad sore. ;)

Picked this guy up from TJ's today.  Started it's life as a Rock Island 9mm just like David's pictured above and then went through a ton of enhancements.  Slide was fitted to the frame, barrel was reverse crowned, gun was cerakoted navy then had the sides of the slide polished.  S&A magwell/mainspring housing & Ambi safety, upgraded trigger, Dawson front sight, a few other things I can't think of off the top of my head.  I didn't buy it and do all of this, I purchased it from a guy who put 50rds through it and moved onto the next project.  The pics don't really do it justice, it's very pretty in person.

Ruger SR1911, which I've been very happy with. Other than the grips, only added stainless grip screws (think it gives a nice accent with black grips, and won't have a finish that wears off).

I run two grips on the Ruger, depending on need. Most of the time, it has Magpul MOE grips. If I ever need to run a rail, I put on the Recover Tactical CC3 grips. Gives me a good rail mount, and only cost me $50. But the best is that it can go back to non-railed in a minute or two. The first picture is stock, but the other two are after I send it to LightFighter Innovations for stippling. Very good work, and happy to send business to a disabled veteran (Chris, the owner is a very good guy).
