this signature exceeds the 15 character capacity count

What is that, I can't read the print on the slide.

Is that some dust cover scratches I see in the photos on the slide?

It says Smith and wesson and some other stuff. Not sure off the top of my head. It looks unfired and mint, just not the best picture. The writing on the frame says it can be fired without a mag. I've considered refinishing it

Who did the paintwork?

Gus Hani at Dynamic Combat Solutions in Wayne.

With a little work, you could make that look like new.   :-)

Yeah imagine paying to make a gun look worn out?  :)

Saw some 2011's in this thread, so I figured I'd add one more.

Built on CK frame and Caspian slide. Combination of parts from EGW, C&S, SVI, STI. Finished in matte Ionbond and just got it back yesterday.

40 S&W----

Gary at Gans Guns did the slide milling and some of the assembly.

Total cost of parts was approx. $2K., gunsmith/milling and finish was extra. Very plain look with minimal markings, just the way I wanted it.

Gary Natale makes good stuff. You did well. Gun should last a very long time.

No more cleaning up. Lol. I'm still recovering from it. This is in FL and that's it's final resting place.

I just scored a Springfield RO Champion this morning at my LGS. Yes you can buy on Sunday here. It was 10 bucks more than buds gun shop and I wanted a commander size and there it was.

That's sick.  Tiny layout with a double stack frame.  Where's the hammer??

Flat hammer for one less thing to worry about snagging on. Never carried it, Never fired it so not sure how much benefit that feature is.

Quick look at the box, it's a Talo Colt. Quick Google search and found this link. So yes it is cerakote, not from Colt, but Talohttp://www.taloinc.com/colt-firearms/colt-stone-grey-defender-45-o7000dz

Talo is the distributor and may specify what features they want, but Colt produces the gun.
