djg0770 481 Posted February 14, 2013 As I stated before, this was on tv last night and I watched one woman being escorted out of the room by a State Trooper. Why, I have no idea. They did not air much of the procedings. Anyone who was there care to comment?
Vlad G 345 Posted February 14, 2013 Anyone who was there care to comment? I don't actually recall anyone being escorted out. If it happened it was very quiet and not called by the committee, although it is possible it happened during the few times I went to the bathroom or bought water or something. NJCK 5 Posted February 14, 2013 As I stated before, this was on tv last night and I watched one woman being escorted out of the room by a State Trooper. Why, I have no idea. They did not air much of the procedings. This woman sat just ahead of Gerry and I. She was escorted out very early in the beginning by the Trooper after refusing the Sgt of Arms' request to leave because she was being vocal about testimony - this was related to the farse where the Chairman was preparing to vote all Bills without even hearing us first. El-Groucho 0 Posted February 14, 2013 I want to thank the guys that stood outside. You guys got the short stick, I'm glad my buddies and I chose to drive and got there early. It is time we buy a few less fancy guns and accessories and spend out money on supporting whoever runs against these clowns. Personally I'm switching my party affiliation to democrat. so when I call them I can tell them "I am a democrat and oppose this crap" and so I can vote in the democrat primaries. This morning I despised them, tonight I'm ferociously pissed enough that I will vote for a retarded ham sandwich with leprosy, and help fund its campaign. It is time we put our money where our mouth is. Also, you might have missed some hilarity when Matt dared them to have him removed from the room. I switched my party affiliation to Independent last month so if they look me up they don't know where I stand and one that needs to be convinced to vote for them. This is because they believe the Sheeple will vote with their party anyway.
Vlad G 345 Posted February 14, 2013 The problem is that if do that in NJ you might have put yourself out of all the primaries.
Vlad G 345 Posted February 14, 2013 Does anyone remember roughly when the "chairman" said it was HIS meeting? I'm trying to find it in the recording. edited: Found it 3:53.
Sigman 41 Posted February 14, 2013 IMO Mainor should have been shouted down as soon as he said this was HIS meeting. This is Government of the people, for the people, by the people, not Govt of Mainor for Mainor and by Mainor. I am quite glad that you guys continued to clap when appropriate. I noticed in one story that one person was escorted out - who and why?? Or is this more media fabrication? Dan - there was a guy that had to leave in the beginning because he complained that we were only given 2 minutes to speak while others opposing us were given more time. I don't know if he was escorted out or not. There were several rooms set up so things could have been going on that others were not aware of. I was on the outside with Ray and Alec because they ran out of room to seat people. He did come up to the podium to inform us why he had to leave and said it was extremely biased against us. BOOMSTICK 6 Posted February 14, 2013 I have seen reports that two people had to be escorted out?
axeman_g 128 Posted February 14, 2013 Two people were escorted out... one gentleman very early for protesting the amount of time being given to Sen Weinberg IIRC,bout 5 minutes. Then another woman, but I missed that one. There was just enough rowdiness to keep it lively. It was not UNRULY in any fashion. Even the MOM tried to make a comment about the unruly nature of the crowd. Which brought forth a chorus of laughter... I thought WE were very well behaved. There were two state house employees I spoke to on my way out and I asked if we were well behaved as I did have concerns. They both stated that while they could not hear everything, that everyone they dealt with was polite, that the showing was impressive and that the message was delivered, but not accepted. Vlad G 345 Posted February 14, 2013 Also if anyone can find the part where the lady quoted the NJ constitution I'd love to know at what minute mark that is.

Vlad check later because i beleive he says it much further into the meeting when a female Navy personell was speaking as well and she went back at hi and corrected him. Vlad G 345 Posted February 14, 2013 I meant 3 hours and 53 minutes. That is believe when the navy lady spoke.
djg0770 481 Posted February 14, 2013 Ok - so two people were escorted out, one because one side was being given more time than the other side and the other because the committee was trying to vote before hearing testimony. Facts in evidence. Two people were escorted out for demanding their constitutional rights, for requiring the committee to abide by due process, and for having the utter NERVE to question King Mainor and his Kangaroo Court. Do I have it correct now? Question - where's the media that will report OUR story? Or hell how about just reporting the honest truth instead of always SPIN? M4BGRINGO 139 Posted February 14, 2013 So has a connection with NJTV on here? They only aired a few minutes last night, but obviously have more footage than that. I don't recall seeing anyone dressed in camo or anything else strange. They did not pan the room much and pretty much focused on the board and the current speaker. There is no media in NJ it would seem that has any desire to be neutral and report facts.

No connections, but they definitely have more footage. They were there a long while, longer than two of the majors. I sat diagonally across from the camera position. Quite honestly there were few out of hundreds wearing any. Generally, the camo was NRA hats or people's coats, and I saw a few camo caps with the Gadsden and American Flag. A couple had some patriotic garb on such as the Korean War vet and Revolutionary War reinactor - had period outfit on, saw a fellow with the Gadsden on his coat, also saw a fellow wearing an American Flag shirt. For the most part, people were dressed in business casual, daily dress, and suits.

axeman_g 128 Posted February 14, 2013 There was little camo ... very little and less than would be present at a town meeting about a parking lot.

Don't remember a lady quoting it. The gentleman that did though, while not the most polished speaker, was well-armed!
Vlad G 345 Posted February 14, 2013 Ok, maybe then I'm just forgetting. I thought it was a lady that quoted the NJ Constitution and asked them if they knew what it was. If it was a gentleman then I'm mistaken, I'm trying to find it in the recording either way.

Zero response from the Committee when he asked them, and then when he told them we in the audience applauded given the salient point raised! I'd say that was somewhere around the 4th hour. NJCK 5 Posted February 14, 2013 Was that the outspoken teacher lady? She sat right next to Gerry and I. She was a hoot and a half, but had some solid background and came prepared with facts and her voice could project - not sure if that's because she was a teacher for 40+ years or an RSO!!! I noticed in one story that one person was escorted out - who and why?? Or is this more media fabrication? After I fired off a email to Mainor about how poorly the meeting was organized, and how he and the other 5 stooges should be booted out of office, I got a email back from him at about 10 p.m. last night offering to meet with me to discuss his position on any of the bills, and that I could call to set it up but that he won't be in the office today. I don't think I'm going to set a meeting up. They'd probably end up hauling me out of his office, charging me with harassment, issuing a restraining order and stealing my guns.
