Zell959 40 Posted February 14, 2013 Missing my favorite: AR15: Your rifle is used by elite forces worldwide to fight two bit nations' most illiterate conscripts. AK47: Your rifle can be used by any two bit nation's most illiterate conscripts to fight elite forces worldwide. Mosin-Nagant: Your rifle has fought against itself and won every time. Damjan 73 Posted March 3, 2013 Anyone been to Sarco lately? Do they have ammo and a good slection of Mosins? I have never been there. I was there yesterday with another forum member. They had 5 counterbore mosins and 3 not on display. A bunch of chinese sks going for 350$. Read above on the Yugo mausers, they were all there for 2-300$ very good shape. There s ammo to be found there but very high prices.

Qel Hoth 33 Posted March 4, 2013 I'm a complete noob about Mosins, what does counterbore mean in this context? The diameter of the bore has been increased at the muzzle and re-crowned, its done to "correct" wear from improper cleaning and/or other damage to the muzzle.
