Barms 98 Posted March 5, 2013 was just looking on GB and the 175 cans of XM127 are completing for over $200... If anyone feels short i can sell 4 boxes of that (100 rounds) for $100.. If this is gouging i apologize, i havent seen much shotgun ammo trade here. Silence will be interpreted as i can go scratch..
JackDaWack 2,894 Posted March 5, 2013 I bought a can over the summer for like $120... if the markets wants it they will pay for it.

DSD1026 48 Posted March 5, 2013 shotgun ammo is still fairly available compared to 9mm or 22 or the like.. but i have seen 00 go for $1 a round in many places..
RUTGERS95 889 Posted March 5, 2013 that's insane but not as insane as what people are paying for .22lr. Now that is when I think people are either desperate, stupid, or just have too much money. Patience people, prices will recede
Kaiser7 33 Posted March 5, 2013 ...Maybe 00 Buck, I paid $8.95 for 25 shells of game load, which is fine for me for HD. Hell, in my house, with a 28" barrel, I doubt that it'll even leave the wad
johnp 45 Posted March 5, 2013 I was at Cabelas a few weeks back and shotgun ammo was plentiful and regularly priced.
DSD1026 48 Posted March 5, 2013 i paid $75 for a case of target loads last month (from Cabelas, speaking of)... but i easily see $5.95 or higher for 00 buck in most places..

rlsbee 1 Posted March 5, 2013 I bought some from Biden Sporting Goods and it was very expensive.
Melgamatic 66 Posted March 5, 2013 I bought three cases of target shells for $6.49 a box, with $5 shipping for the whole thing, Sunday night...
Zell959 40 Posted March 5, 2013 Maybe my memory is failing me, but I feel like mid to higher end 00 Buck & slugs were generally going for .75-1.00+/round pre-crisis. No?

Handyman 5,682 Posted March 5, 2013 Ammo of any sort has just kept climbing God only knows where this will all land once this period of uncertainty of over. It will probably go the same way gasoline prices did. Now that everyone is conditioned to paying high prices, they will leave them where they are. Pythagoras 2 Posted March 5, 2013 This past Saturday I went to a Dick's near Whitehall, PA and they had plenty of 12g and 20g shells. Literally hundreds of boxes and thousands of shells on their shelf. Prices varied a great deal based on brand/quality as you normally expect. The only $1/shell I saw was for some real premium steel shot. They also had some 16g and 10g, as well as a little .30-06 and some other rifle calibers I didn't recognize. Of course, the only handgun ammo they had was like 2 boxes of .40S&W but whatevs.
Pythagoras 2 Posted March 5, 2013 Let me add how awesome it felt to just walk into a store and buy ammo off a shelf like an American instead of waiting 15 minutes for some guy to unlock the case. Can't imagine how good it must feel to open carry there like a free man, but I don't have the stones to do that before taking a combat pistol class.
