Big time noise and the house is even shaking. I'm 15 miles away. I don't think I've ever felt it like this. If it's not them, I can't think of what else it could be. Too funny, my neighbor just called me freaking out, asking if she should go into her basement.

Yes, since the closure of Willow Grove and various other realignments, JBMDL has got busier. It's a good thing to see and hear the C-17s and helicopters over my house. The congress creatures are also lobbying hard for McGuire to be the 2nd base for the new KC-67A. Army and Marine helicopters, USMC and Army artillery & mortars, reservists mostly on weekend drills. You can hear machine gun fire quite clearly if you are at CJRPC or Colliers Mills

A loud weekend for everyone around. Funny thing about unpopular old Sen Lautenburg is that McGuire would have closed years ago without his pull. Without him the KC-10 and C-17 wouldnt have made it and one of the largest employers in NJ would have been reduced to over grown weeds and a superfund site.

Just got back from training at Fort Dix, our snipers and FOs were practicing spotting for arty/ 81mm mortars while the rest of us were doing a .50 cal shoot.
