You can usually pre-order them on budsgunshop.com and just wait for springfield to manufacture them. You might wait half a year......but you won't pay above MSRP.

my brother has one. i think its kinda just meh. you could get a lot better pistol for that kinda cash. thats getting up into semi-custom price range. my advise would be to keep shopping. but i bet someone will pay that price for that gun.

Like this one 1500..bought 6 months ago.....They are out there for good prices, just check all the forums..

2011 build. Someone on another forum was dumping all his SA Rail 1911's.....

I don't see the love affair with this 1911. I remember when they came out and they were $1100. Same pistol today but harder to find so the price is inflated.
