As a reference, please see ... ... ...
... ... ... if you are unfamiliar with the VTAC barricade.
Most, if not all, of the classes I've attended (Telluric Group, Viking Tactics, Defoor and Redback One) use either the VTAC barricade or something quite similar in training drills. Once I've gotten my 2012 sea legs at Old Bridge, I'd like to use barricades during some practice sessions. Does anyone ever run these, or something similar there?
Not sure what club policy is, but is there a way to store these on-site? I'd be more than happy to provide the material and labor to get a few built ... And maybe stash them somewhere for all to enjoy and practice with. These really are a great training aid.
For those in the know, is this even possible?
Thanks,
Ronky

Spoiler: I lost, LOL.
Video Description:
This video compares an average shooter to a grand master. I felt it would be interesting to put in perspective just how much faster a GM shoots using side by side footage. Basically they are more than twice as fast and more accurate. Quite incredible when you see it in person. You can see in one stage his (GM) mag falls out and an extra reload is needed and even still he finishes more than 2 seconds faster (for the string). In the last stage my footage has a head start and I still take more time a GM does to finish TWO stages! The end footage you can see how much faster a GM reloads and draws. The difference is staggering. As for me I need more practice, LOL!
Thanks to Mike D. for letting me use the footage.

Hello everyone. I'm listing my Henry Steel Boy in 357 Magnum up for sale today. It's the older model without the side loading gate. I'm asking for $700 for the rifle. I'm located in Woodbridge Township and am willing to accommodate any buyer, distance wise, as long as it works for my schedule. An NJ FID and matching DL are required to complete the sale and all FFL/shipping fees are the buyers responsibility. The first to post "I'll Take It" wins the sale. Get some cleaning mats. I clean them at my kitchen island. Nothing gets on the counter and I can take my time. Look up Tek Mats

Generally, ranges have strict rules about uncased firearms being anywhere but on the firing line. In other words, if you aren't on the line shooting, your firearm must be in a case. No opportunity to do any cleaning, and likely no place to do any cleaning. Like Mr Stu sez, no range is going to expose itself to unnecessary risk.

I don't think any range is going to want you taking anything apart on the range itself. They probably wouldn't want you interrupting the other shooters when they have to call a ceasefire for you to retrieve springs that fly down range, or soaking the bench with solvent. If they don't provide an area for cleaning it's probably not going to happen there. I also do not have any permanent location for cleaning. I have my cleaning gear in plastic tubs/totes that I store in the garage. I'd setup a space in the garage but too clod in the winter and too hot in the summer so it's either the kitchen table or my desk while watching gun tube -
Fun fact. Registered R's currently outnumber the D's by almost a million in FL. Considering R's surpassed D's only a few yrs ago I'd say that's a huge swing and this state is gtg for a while. Just not with realestate....
