Whoa this is real close to home and I frequent this store quite often, scary to think. And this DSG does not have locked cabinets for ammo, not sure about any other PA DSG but I know this one doesn't. Might be just a NJ thing, the West Windsor DSG is like that.

 

I've never had to carry my ammo in a white plastic container through the store so I don't know why that was mentioned.

This made me think of that Seinfeld episode where George took the book into the bathroom, then had to buy it.

And nobody wanted it because it was on the list. (at least this shotgun will be locked in evidence for a while.)

I wish they would just ring you up at the register at the gun counter. What if someone gets the ammo and decides they can't afford it and sets it down on a shelf somewhere? Do they write down the box UPC when writing in your info?

No store that I went to in pa locks up shotgun ammo.... no reason to villify it even more.

 

This was a suicide, case closed. A clean one at that. Unfortunate that it happened, good thing no one else got hurt or had to witness it. Done and done.

They wouldn't even hand me the ammo in a Jersey dicks store i went too. The guy said he'll walk it up to the cashier for me. He handed it to a girl working one of the lanes and took the hell off. Someone must have scared him before I walk in. Lol
