Ray Ray 3,566 Posted March 25, 2013 But it is oh so awesome to shoot. not so for a lefty. and yes i saw the military arms channel video. It would still burn your check for a southpaw. UNLESS you convert it, which defeats the purpose of a battle rifle IMHO.

This guy seems to shoot it southpaw and keep his cheeks frosty: *VERY* interested in one of these, but no way I'm paying up to be an early adopter. Ray Ray 3,566 Posted March 25, 2013 the ejection port looks like it would be on my face This is kinda like the KSG for me, the stock is just to short for someone of my height and it won't allow for a proper check-weld. I still wanna fondle one, and I will when Rich at OMG gets them in this week.
RUTGERS95 890 Posted March 26, 2013 I like it, unconventional yes but I'll bet it's a superb firearm. I've watched some reviews and the guys doing the review seem to generally like it.

HODGIE 3 Posted April 20, 2013 AIM had many different ones in stock for less then $1999.99 except for the model that came with the Mepro reflex site. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?groupid=703&name=IWI+TAVOR+SAR+.223%2f5.56+Rifles
RTSP1 67 Posted April 20, 2013 Yeah sorry these are north jersey prices. I don't get the guns for much more then 1800 so I have to make a little money.

bry@n 195 Posted April 20, 2013 Yeah sorry these are north jersey prices. I don't get the guns for much more then 1800 so I have to make a little money. I hardly think making more than 25% on a new rifle as being "a little money".
RTSP1 67 Posted April 20, 2013 Like I always say, take the time, put out the money, take on the risk, then make the prices whatever you think is fair. 2400 is a fair price for that gun in today's market. The gun is more then available on GB for 5k. Sorry for the honesty!
bry@n 195 Posted April 20, 2013 Honesty? I am well aware of what it takes, more than you think. Back on topic, these are going for $2400-2500 on GB and the FDE is slightly more. So before you spew numbers out, be sure of what they are going for. Throwing numbers out there just to make your prices sound good doesn't make it so. I think you can charge what ever you wish, but to say you have to make a little money, markup the gun 25%, that doesn't seem like little money to me. Especially on a gun that is in the 2k range. This is just my opinion. oh and just to back up my statements. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=337410259 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=336380815 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=336957562 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=337572149
RTSP1 67 Posted April 20, 2013 Exactly right, your opinion! Not necessarily an accurate opinion, but an opinion none the less. That is why I love the forum! Lots of opinions.

DargZ 5 Posted April 20, 2013 I held one today. They are pretty cool. I just couldn't justify another rifle that shoots 5.56. If you want one, go check out OMG Custom Guns. They have one and the price I saw on it was below MSRP.
RTSP1 67 Posted April 20, 2013 Sooooooo GB is selling them for the same price I am. What's the point?
Turbotezza 1 Posted April 20, 2013 There is a NJ compliant version from the factory?
bry@n 195 Posted April 21, 2013 There is a NJ compliant version from the factory? Turbotezza, I will admit I didn't think of that. If its not nj compliant and rtsp made it compliant, then the price isn't bad.
bry@n 195 Posted April 21, 2013 Sooooooo GB is selling them for the same price I am. What's the point? My point is that your $5k cost of the rifle on GB is inaccurate to say the least. One would also come to think that since the rifle came out, prices on GB are absurdly priced. Anyway, either way do what you want. No need to respond. You didn't like my earlier response, got on your horse to because you opened a range in northern nj and can charge whatever you wish. I merely pointed out that your numbers were inaccurate with my findings.
