Over the course of the past two or three weeks I've placed four ammunition orders. Well, wouldn't you know it, three show up today, including the wooden crate of 7.62x54R. The poor UPS guy may be out on disability for a while.

But, now I have ammo!

Ordered 4 crates of 5.45 it all showed up with my new 33" mud boggers and matching rims. My UPS guy said he's gonna black list me.

You sure UPS would be doing the delivering and not a shipping company they drop ships it to you driveway and you have to get tit in the house or where ever you want it?

Those wooden crates of surplus ammo weigh a lot. I have several of them here. Felt bad for the UPS guy delivering them. I keep the old crates around for step-stools.

Yup, the 54r runs about 55 lbs. UPS loves when I order them.

Yeah, 25kg crate, plus a case of .45 ACP and a bunch of x39. Wife said he carried it all in one trip to the door.

When I bought a generator a few years ago I ordered it with liftgate service since I obviously don't have a loading dock at my house.

 

They sent it fedex freight, billed for lift gate service.

 

Fedex arrives with a truck without a lift gate.

 

Told them I have no loading dock, either go back and get a truck with a lift gate or figure out something.

 

They call another guy and the three of them lift it down from the truck manually.

 

Idiots.. Fedex that is, for sending the wrong truck.

I work for UPS inside the lawnside HUB, loading trucks both locally and tractor trailers that get shipped across the country, good for business but I'd be lying if I said that a lot of my co-workers weren't complaining. Feel bad for the drivers in Texas, trust me.
