Permit Question

When applying for pistol permits if you use the same two references that you used on past applications will the PD once again send a reference letter to them since the information is already on record?

In toms river they told me to write down references but they weren't even going to contact them. I guess if u already have your fid and you come back w a clean check u r good to go. But yours may b different.

Since I don't have a local PD I go through the NJSP and most of the time they contact my references. This last time I put in for a change of address they did call, the time before that they didn't.

Me Too! Applied on January 31st...almost a full 2 months and I know these guys and they hustled for me. I feel like a kid in a candy store! My Sig 1911 stainless is on the way! WOOT! :wild:
