Pizza - UPDATED and listed by town

This. So much this. Pizza Town USA probably the best round pie, I've ever had.

Also Mr. Brunos in Lyndhurst well known for their square pies.

I think Pizza Town is the best too. Grew up with it and they are still the ones to beat.

And let's remember not everyone agrees on what is the "best" pizza. Personally I like thin crust and slightly unusual toppings. Of course that's not to say I don't enjoy a good cheese pie too.

One of the places mentioned, Chimney Rock Inn, makes the most amazing thin crust, Baked Potato Skin Pizza. OMG, it's delicious and why not? A pizza with potato skins, cheese and bacon. Now I'm hungry.

top of the park has pretty good food too in the restaurant section. neils is ok but has gone down hill in the past year. Its about a 1 minute drive from me and i dont go there anymore. I go past there to gencarellis in packanack. their pizza is the best in wayne. Everyone in the lower passaic county area has to try sunray if they havent had it and Pizza town. those are two of the bests just a bit further for me. Grew up on both of them though.

Don't know how he found the thread. Forum search engine is not very concise. Put up the word Pizza, all you see are posts by Bob....lol...

And I have no qualms about what time of the year it is. It just came up in another thread. ;)

I will not apologize in advance for what I am about to write. If you are offended or if your feelings are hurt please make sure there isn't a knot in the crotch of your panties...

Pizza does not exist in NJ. I am from Brooklyn and the worst pizzeria there makes our best pizzeria look like a dog food factory.

Here is a sample list

L&B Spinoni gardens

Elegante

Vesuvio

Lenny's

Pizza Wagon

Nino's

Gino's

Bay Ridge Pizza

Both Pizza Stops

I can go on, in fact, if you were standing in Brooklyn and put ketchup and American cheese on wonder bread, that would be better pizza than what we have here.

That's probably why Mancinis in East Brunswick makes a good pie. They are from and still live in Brooklyn. They still make the dough in Brooklyn and bring it to the EB location.(must be the water).
