Help me choose what to get

I put in for three permits about a month ago and still haven't narrowed down what to get. Some of the items on my wishlist are:

S&W500

M&P Shield

38 revolver or 380 pistol

1911

 

Right now, I'm leaning towards the 500, Shield and either the 38 or 380. I may hold off on the 1911 for a bit.

 

I already have a 22lr Ruger and a S&W SD9.

Never shot the S&W500 but it seems like a lot of gun. If you're OK with it good for you.

 

I'm not having much luck finding 357 revolvers or the M&Ps - at least locally.

 

1911 is always a nice choice.

 

 

Whatever you decide on - good luck finding it.

Get a 1911. I can't believe you would hold off on that over a .380 and single stack 9mm in a state where you can't carry!

I have an S&w 500 and I love it. But it's not for everyone. 9 out of 10 people I let shoot it never want to fire it again. I'd recommend something else unless your collection already has the other major bases covered. Keep in mind the 500 is 2 or 3 dollars or more every time you pull the trigger.

 

I'd recommend a 1911 or other .45 semi over the 500 unless you already have those.

I love my revolver. .357mag. Very versatile. HD, bullseye, steel. Picked it up used and it a great deal. That's what id pick up next
