Lets say I have a warehouse. And some lady friends with questionable morals. And a good friend that's a professional photog. With the commensurate equipment to do a photo-shoot.

And some interesting weaponry.

Could I bring those disparate items to bear on generating some interesting pics? Without, of course, running afoul of the oppressive trap-ridden PRNJ laws.

I'm trying to hang my hat on that it is my place of business. The temporary transfers for posing purposes may be problematic. But I am quite friendly with local law enforcement. But I've heard of those "friendly LEO" stories turning very tragic. Not LEO bashing. Stupid foolish people bashing.

Or may be a friendly neighborhood range may be a better locale. After hours. Ammo secured. Safety officer(s)...

Just asking for input.

Never know what you're liable to see in NSFW if it's pull-off-able.

Your location.

Your firearms.

I don't see any issue. What am I missing?

Do you interprite the temporary transfer laws to prohibit ANYONE other than yourself from handeling your firearms at your location?

As long as the guns are legal guns (not prohibited) and the model isn't an ineligible person I don't see the issue.

That's way I figured, since it is my place of business I was ok.

The transfer bit was based in what I thought I heard/read about there having to be an exemption to the bogus laws to even let somebody shoot your gun at a range. I could be wrong(and I'm sure it'll be pointed out by y'all. Ha!)

Great input. I don't want to broach the subject with the town LEOs so I wanted to get the community's take on it.

If it is YOUR business and you are the owner ( not a place you are an employee of) , then you can legally have your guns there. If not , you can not. I know this is the case with handguns , not sure about long guns. If you are in a legal place to be with your legal firearms , then you can hand them to the models as long as you are present.

Hope it is a go , have fun :)

Find a place, keep your mouth shut, find some models from Model Mayhem and shoot away. They don't have to be woman of questionable morals. They can furnish their own skimpy outfits (I'm assuming you're looking for implied nudity). Photos, especially those that show anything close to a serial number needs to be retouched. There are a few professional photogs that belong to this group (even a lady or two) so you might want to work with them to tamp down the "perv factor" and keep your models comfortable. Some models work with their own makeup artists, or you can find one on Model Mayhem as well. Really depends on how far into it you want to get.

    • I very seriously doubt this has anything to do with terrorism.    1) Harbor pilots are VERY seriously vetted, and highly trained. Not to mention extremely well paid. My experience knowing a few of them, and knowing how they are recruited and screened tells me that there is a slim to highly unlikely chance that a harbor pilot would have participated in anything like that.    2) Maintenance of foreign flag ships is well known to be dubious. Especially these days. These were NOT US flag, Jones act sailors. It was (to my understanding) a largely Indian crew on that ship, with a Ukrainian Captain. Indian crews are not exactly known for being stellar.    3) The bunkers (fuel) these ships use is ‘Bunker C’, which is a heavy, dirty fuel oil that can, and usually is, pretty contaminated. This stuff ain’t your car grade gasoline or diesel fuel. It’s nasty.   It requires nearly constant filter changes and maintenance to the engine/generators. The ship took on fuel prior to departing port, which would stir up all kinds of shit in the fuel tanks, which would contribute to particulates in the fuel lines/filters.    4) I’d say the posting of the chief engineer for Maserek above was pretty spot on as far as chain of events.    This was a shitty accident, with horrible timing and outcome. Not a terror attack.
    • I saw Lara's interview on Bannon's War Room, and that gave me pause for thought. Her conjecture depends primarily on the veracity of her sources. Regardless, if it's not applicable in any way to this ship disaster, the methods described seem valid to me. And worthy of consideration for the future. As I said before, IMO something is coming.
