matyb123 0 Posted May 14, 2013 I'm looking for a company that makes a clamp on a2 style front sight but it seems to be very limited... I bought a barrel and realized it wasn't drilled for the sight and then did the research and found what u have to do and it jus not worth it :/ I kno JP makes one but are there any kno good ones out there other than that they are $122!!! Can you drill and tap the standard sight and then jus notch the barrel?? I'm a master tech by trade I jus wanna kno if anyone has done that successfully before I buy one
Old School 611 Posted May 14, 2013 Is there a rail on the gas block? And also there are two heights. Gas block height and rail height. If you need anything let me know. Post a pic of your barrel.

DargZ 5 Posted May 14, 2013 Twong11219 and I installed this one for my brother in law. He did most of the hard work. We actually made marks in the barrel so that the set screws are almost flush with the sight. https://www.whiteoakarmament.com/xcart/product.php?productid=17641&cat=287&page=

DargZ 5 Posted May 15, 2013 That's a genius idea that exactly what I'm doing!!! Credit goes to Twong11219. I would've just dimpled the barrel. I buy things and bounce crazy projects off of him.
